This coastal hiking tour was absolutely stunning from start to finish! The trail followed the cliffs overlooking the Pacific, with endless ocean views, sea breeze, and the sound of waves crashing below — it honestly felt like something out of a postcard.
Our guide was incredible — you could tell right away how experienced he was. He shared so many interesting facts about the local ecosystem, history, and hidden lookout spots. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, offering tips on footing and checking in often.
If you love being outdoors, this is a must-do in San Diego. It’s peaceful, scenic, and a great way to experience the coastline from a whole new perspective.”

Although I have had many camping trips with Andy, this was my second year doing a hiking and backpacking trip together, and it just keeps getting better every time! He always does an amazing job planning everything — from choosing the perfect trails and campsites to making sure we have all the right gear. You can tell how much thought goes into each trip.
What makes it even more special is his knowledge of geography and the fascinating bits of history he shares along the way — it adds a whole new layer of appreciation for the places we explore. The hikes are always scenic, the campsites are beautiful, and we end up with great stories (and sore legs!) every time.

I recently did a guided hiking tour at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our group did a Low Tide Hike. The scenery was stunning — from coastal cliffs with ocean views to wading in the cool water. Our tour guide tailored the hike to our group’s varied levels.
Our tour guide’s expertise really made the experience stand out. Andy was extremely knowledgeable about the area’s unique marine life, geology, and history. We also had the opportunity to look for sea creatures and unique shells. His enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors made it easy to appreciate the rich biodiversity of San Diego’s coastline and understand the importance of preserving it.”
